Tea for the Tillerman is the name of an album by British singer-songwriter Cat Stevens, released in 1970. The album features several of his most recognized songs, including “Wild World” and “Father and Son”. Some have suggested that “tillerman” refers to a farmer or a worker who tills the land, but in an interview, Cast Stevens stated that the title of the album was inspired by a children’s book he had read called “The Secret Lives of Turtles,” in which a man offers tea to a turtle. Maybe the image of tea sipping turtles can only live in the minds of British folks, but the human love to tea is well shared by all of man kind.
For your enjoyment we have compiled a short list of great teas for Humans, Brits and Turtles too.
