Leadership expert, author and optimist Simon Sinek, will give the keynote speech at the Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) Chairman’s Lecture. It is scheduled for 19th January, 2013 to be held in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The president and chief executive officer of the GMA has said that the industry values innovation and the kind of forward-thinking leadership for growing it. Mr. Sinek was selected to give the address so as to give these insights. Pamela G. Bailey further said that Mr. Sinek would be sharing his secrets on inspiring people and companies to achieve higher levels of growth and success. He was chosen to give the attendees an opportunity to transform their thoughts on leadership.
Sinek, in his keynote address, will look at how leaders and their companies can make great impact in their world and analyse the way that they act, think and communicate. Sinek has written the book “Start with Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action,” and is a trained ethnographer. His book provides insights that have their basis on the biology that forms human decision-making. He will present insight into why a number of leaders, organizations or messages are more inspiring compared to others.
Sinek has shared his unconventional insights and views on leadership and business with such agencies, organizations, as well as leaders in the U.S. Congress, Microsoft, United Nations, Mars, U.S. Air Force, 3M, NASA, and the New York City Ballet.
The Grocery Manufacturers Association Chairman’s Lecture, is an exclusive assembly of influential leaders working in the beverage, food, and consumer goods industry. It is scheduled for January 18-19, 2013.
