Lantic Inc. is a privately owned Canadian sugar refiner. It is one of two refining companies in the area of eastern Canada and the leading refiner in western Canada.

History
Lantic Inc. was created as the result of a merger between Rogers Sugar Limited and Lantic Sugar Limited in June of 2008 after previously having worked together. With the merger, the companies’ combined their finest traditions and created one new company with diverse ambitions and a national culture.

Lantic Inc. uses both Rogers and Lantic trademarks. This has allowed the company to market its products under the Lantic brand in the east and the Rogers brand in the west. In the eastern part of Canada, Lantic Inc. has a refinery for cane sugar in Montreal. This facility produces different kinds of products such as granulated sugar, cube sugar, brown sugar, specialty sugar, icing sugar, yellow sugar, liquid sugar and syrups. In the western part of Canada, Lantic Inc. has two sugar refineries, one in Vancouver and one in Taber. The facility in British Columbia(Vancouver) processes cane sugar, while the facility in Alberta (Taber) processes beet sugar. Among the products produced in the two facilities are granulated sugar, cube sugar, brown sugar, and specialty sugars. Lantic Inc. also has a distribution and sales center located in Toronto. At this facility, a complete line of Lantic’s products (both liquid sugars and dry sugars) is stored. The company also has a facility that offers services for dry blending of bulk products.
