The history of Johnson Foods, Inc. traces back to 1949.  Johnson Fruit developed into a high-quality packager of fresh asparagus and it later became Johnson Foods, Inc. They also manufacture maraschino cherries (with food coloring and without) and pickled vegetables. Johnson Foods supplies products to McDonalds, Amazon.com, Wal-Mart, Yoplait, Danone, Marriott, Costco and Schwans.

All the vegetables and fruits are handpicked from the farms of Yakima Valley in Washington and are canned at site. Their high-quality products are sold mostly over the Internet under the Princess Pickled Vegetables brand. The pickled vegetables include snap peas, asparagus, carrots, hot and spicy green beans and peppers. The company also provides gift packing services. Johnson Foods, Inc. also sells 2 varieties of maraschino cherries, colored and natural. All the products are available in single jars or as cases of 12. Gourmet gift boxes of vegetables or cherries are also available upon request.
