The grocery industry is growing by the day. With the ever-increasing number of grocery stores and increase in the demand for groceries, companies have continued to engage in fierce competition with each other in an attempt to capture a larger piece of the market. Grocery firms are continually looking for better and more innovative means to capture the attention and maintain the customers who shop at their stores. One such grocery company in America is the Sunshine Food store. The company recently said that it would be introducing a reward program that is expected to attract and maintain their customers. The program will enable customers to earn credit points from their purchases at the store. The customers will then be able to use the credits to earn discounts on their total grocery bill.
The program, from BillAway Rewards, was designed in a way that customers will be able to get credits when they shop from more than 25,000 participating retail stores. The deal also involves online shopping using their debit and credit cars. This means that they don’t have to physically visit the selected stores to earn points.
Sunshine is currently operating about 14 stores in South Dakota, Iowa, and Minnesota. The head of marketing says that the company expects to take advantage of the program to encourage customer loyalty. Reducing the grocery bill of their customers without affecting the profit margins of the company is a sure win-win solution for both the customers and the company. The business will be able to grow while the customers will be happy to get great savings from their grocery shopping.
