Busch’s Fresh Food Market was recently voted as Washtenaw County’s best grocery store. The poll was created by AnnArbor.com as part of its ‘Best Of’ contest. Busch’s won the poll with a total of 131 votes while Trader Joe’s came in second with 81 votes. Hiller’s came after Trader Joe’s with a total of 73 votes.
The voting for best grocery started on Sunday, March 13, and ended last Saturday, March 19, at 11:59 PM. Even during the first day of voting, Busch’s had already established a solid lead against its competitors. It maintained its top position all throughout the week. Close competitors were Trader Joe’s, Arbor Farms Market, Hiller’s and Plum Market.
Washtenaw County is located in the state of Michigan and has a population of more than 322,000 people. Ann Arbor is its county seat. Busch’s is a family owned chain of supermarkets founded and primarily located in Ann Arbor. The store prides itself with offering the freshest produce available and the best quality in products and services.
Trader Joe’s, Busch’s runner up in the voting, is also a privately owned chain of grocery stores that prides itself with offering excellent quality specialty products. Both Arbor Farms and Plums Markets are also popular grocery stores in the area. Hiller’s is a popular supermarket that offers variety, quality and customer service that is unparalleled.
