About ALDI
The first ALDI store opened in Southeastern Iowa in 1976. The way the company has operated has continuously been honed and refined. They have been committed to bringing food to customers at lower prices than the competition. In fact, compared to other supermarkets, their stores seemed tiny. Yet, they are able to provide shoppers with a select assortment that brings satisfaction to customers.
As time passed, the store began experimenting with Special Buy items, and their selection began to include more refrigerated and frozen foods. They also began accepting debit cards, and they instituted Sunday hours. Today there are over 1,000 ALDI stores spread across 31 states. There are also ALDI stores in Europe and Australia. An ALDI store now carries about 1,400 regularly stocked items that include fresh meat and in certain locations, beer and wine. After all these years, their core concept remains “honest to goodness savings.”

Please bring an Aldi grocery store to Tell City, Indiana. I would be grateful to have a discount grocery store that has premium products. Thank you & please consider coming to our town.
We love Aldi….we live in Ohio where there is an Aldi in mostly every major city. We are looking to move to Southern Alabama (around Mobile). We have found ourselves looking for the closest Aldi, which is 3hrs away in Alabaster, Alabama. Please consider Mobile, Alabama area for future expansion. We save so much money with your grocery store compared to others. With a family of 4, we spent half as much at Aldi and get double the amount of groceries of other competing grocers. Thanks for your consideration….
would love to see a Aldis in Mcminn or Monroe county in TN
Have you considered a store in Louisiana? I know a small town that is desperately looking for a grocery store to move in.
Went to Petoskey, MI today. Really thought the store was great. Would you consider opening one in Cheboygan, MI as Petoskey is 40 miles away. I work as a cashier and I love that you can sit while ringing up items. The cart idea is awesome. Really great buys. Very clean. Your wage is very competitive also.
I would like to ask aquestion of whomever is in charge of locating new stores in the Richmond,Virginia area…..Since your stores are known for it’s lower prices and good quality foods’why not build in an area such as Doswell,Va[23047]??? We are about 20 miles north of Richmond and our nearest grocery stores are approximately 10 miles from us…Although our address is Doswell we actually live in the southern part of Caroline County. There is no grocery store in our immediate area and the majority of our community are in a lower income bracket….One of your stores would be perfect for us!!!!!

For years we shopped at Aldi and save so much, now we live in Defuniak Springs, Fl. and can’t fond one any closer the 3 to 5 hours away. I’m willing to travel a little like an hour so please help me find a store closer to home or bring one to the Panama City area
Thanks
Our small town is looking to get a grocery store in it our closet big city is 50 miles away and the mom n pop stores are way over priced. I believe putting an aldis in our town would be awsome cause of the price and also their non food specials. It would bring all the small surrounding town in to shop iinsted of having to devote a whole day to drive so far. What would I have to do to open an aldis in my town I believe it would be a great success.
