Prime Choice Foods Corporation announced a product recall last February 14 on specific lots of its multi-grain tortilla chips. These tortilla chips were recalled because they may contain undeclared ingredients which are considered to be allergens.
The products are under the Garden of Eatin’ brand and are packed in 9 ounce retail bags. The chips’ two flavors are Sea Salt and Everything. The recall was made after it was found that the chips were packed in the wrong retail bags, those that did not list wheat and soy as ingredients.
The recalled tortilla chips have the following specifications:

Wheat and soy, as food allergens, can trigger serious allergy attacks. Those who already have pre-existing medical conditions may suffer more because of the allergy attacks triggered by these foods.
The FDA has been informed of this voluntary recall. The affected products were distributed to retail food stores all over the country.
Consumers who bought the recalled multi-grain chips can return it to the place or store, where they bought it and a refund will be given once the chips have been returned. The company also has a hotline for any concern customers might have regarding the recall. They can call at 1 800 434 4246 and be assisted, everyday from 9 AM until 9 PM (weekdays) and 10 AM until 6 PM (weekends).
