California-based confectionery Clif Bar & Co. has announced a limited edition variety of its Clif Bar. The new variety, Peppermint Stick, is a mix of iced gingerbread and spiced-pumpkin pie with the cool sting of classic peppermint.

The combination of freshly baked taste and cool tingle in the mouth makes this new addition an interesting and appealing product to consumers of all kinds. All Clif Bar varieties are rich sources of fiber, protein and carbohydrates. These energy bars make a perfect snack for athletes who have an active lifestyle and because these energy bars are organic, consumers will not have to worry about eating something that has a lot of artificial ingredients in it. All Clif Bar varieties do not contain hydrogenated oils, trans-fats, artificial flavoring, or high-fructose corn syrup.

For the holidays, Clif Bar & Co. will donate a percent of its net sales from the holiday flavors of Clif Bar. The donation will go to Winter Wildlands Alliance, which is an organization that works for the skiers, winter hikers, snow shoers, snowboarders and other adventurers with the purpose of addressing the national concerns that bring impact to the winter wild lands.

According to Clif Bar’s Brand Director Carly Lutz, the company feels great to be able to provide consumers with sustained energy and good nutrition through the product and its nostalgic flavors. The company also feels happy that it is able to contribute in the protection of the winter wild lands through its partnership with Winter Wildlands Alliance.

Clif Bar’s holiday flavors, including the limited edition Peppermint Stick, are now available in retail stores for a price of $1.39.
