Fairway Market has announced its offering of Glatt kosher menu that will be available in three of its 11 locations. The three stores are Paramus, New Jersey, and Westbury, New York and Stamford, Connecticut. The Thanksgiving foods are from the supermarket chains kosher kitchens. The meals are made under Rabbi Avraham Marmostein and Kof-K supervision.

The company has said that since the holiday is family, food and friends-oriented they have seen it fit to give the catering menu to customers so that they can save time that would otherwise be spent in the kitchen, giving more time to be spent with friends and family.

The company has included unique offerings in the menu, as well as traditional Thanksgiving foods and termed it an “impressive menu.” The kosher menu will include the traditional turkey (oven-ready Empire), pecan and pumpkin pie, apple cranberry challah stuffing, butternut squash bisque, roasted seasonal vegetables, seasonal fruit platter, antipasti platter, tomato salad, eggplant, variety of crudités, hummus, wild rice, apple pie, chocolate cake, slow roasted beef brisket and candied sweet potatoes.

The orders for the meals have to be given before 15 November at noon and can be picked up at the store.

New York-based Fairway Markets has also launched its ordering site for turkey for Thanksgiving. There several varieties of turkey that you can select from. They are organic, breast roast, boneless, kosher and Heritage breeds, which have price ranges of $1.99 and $9.99 for each pound. The customers can pick up their orders between 19 November and 24 November, but the supermarket chain promises to remind customers with orders to go pick them up from stores. Fairway Market, which has traditional, specialty and organic food offerings at 11 locations in the country has welcomed the Thanksgiving holiday saying that it wanted to ensure that their customers got the size and type of turkey that they want.
