Alec Baldwin
It has been reported by CBS news that Wegmans grocery store pulled its Alec Baldwin television ads a week early. The store decided to “yank” the commercials off the air after some customers complained about Alec Baldwin getting kicked off of an American Airlines flight for refusing to turn off his phone. Wegmans Food Markets later apologized for pulling the TV spots and resumed the commercials again.
Gordon Ramsay
Gordon Ramsay recently stirred controversy in Singapore. An episode of celebrity chef, Gordon’s Great Escape, recently became a hot topic on Facebook, according to Eco-buisness.com. The show’s focus was about sharks getting slaughtered for shark’s fin soup. During the show Gordon Ramsay went to restaurants and implored diners not to consume the dish. For this, and many other reasons, Singapore hotels and supermarkets are ceasing their sales of exotic and overfished species.
Frank Decaro
