Washington-based Trans-Ocean Products Inc. has announced that it is recalling specific lots of its smoked salmon due to possible bacterial contamination. The affected product, “Trans-Ocean Wild Alaska Sockeye Smoked Salmon,” may be contaminated by the bacteria Listeria monocytogenes.
The product’s manufacturer reported the potential contamination. The smoked salmon was not produced by Trans-Ocean and thus no other Trans-Ocean products are not affected by the recall.
