Charcuterie La Tour Eiffel announced, on April 15, a product recall for its seafood dips and mousses due to a possibility of bacterial contamination.

The products may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. This was found out after random samples of two lots of salmon and spinach mousse were found to be positive for the bacteria. All products in the lot were immediately placed on hold and were stopped from being distributed to the market. In relation to this incident, all Summersweet products are now temporarily suspended until the investigation of the problem has been concluded and a solution has been implemented.
