Since its inception, the supermarket chain has gradually expanded and grown. Currently, there are a total of twenty-one stores situated in Mishawaka, South Bend, Nappanee, Granger, Elkhart, Logansport, Plymouth, Warsaw and Goshen in Indiana. There are also stores located in Stevensville, Niles, and St. Joseph, Michigan. Some of the aspects that have triggered the success of Martin’s Supermarkets include determination, innovative ideas and the hard work displayed by the Tarnows. In addition to these qualities, Martin’s Supermarkets have always prioritized customer service. This means that all the moves and innovations of the company are grounded on its customers’ needs.

The training also focuses on providing superior quality goods and products. It is clearly evident that Martin’s Supermarkets are committed to community service. They are readily involved with the communities that they serve. For instance, the Heat for Homes Program was initiated by Martin’s. The program is a yearly campaign with the sole objective of raising funds to help the community generate heat during the months of winter.
